Tournament Rules

Section 01

Scoring System

Business Growth (TYFCB): Up to 300 points per week

Referrals Generated: Up to 250 points per week
3
Meetings Conducted: Up to 200 points per week
4
One-to-Ones: Up to 150 points per week
5
Event Participation: Up to 100 points per week
6
Maximum 1,000 core points per week

Bonus Points

1
Early Bird Bonus: +25 points (complete events before deadline)

Perfect Week Bonus: +100 points (complete all events in a week)
3
Consistency Bonus: +75 points (participate in 5+ consecutive events)
4
Mega Impact Bonus: +150 points (generate high business impact)
5
Maximum 350 bonus points per week

Section 03

Deductions

1
No Show: -25 points (missed event without notice)
2
Late Submission: -15 points (submitted after deadline)
3
Incomplete Activity: -10 points (did not meet event requirements)

Eligibility

All participants must be active BNI members

Each team has 7-8 business owners

Participants must attend minimum 75% of events

Business data must be verified by chapter leadership

Who can participate in ABL 2026?

All active BNI members can participate. Each team consists of 7-8 business owners from the chapter.

How are points calculated?

Points are awarded based on business growth (TYFCB), referrals, meetings, one-to-ones, and event participation. Bonus points are also available for exceptional performance.

When is the leaderboard updated?

The leaderboard is updated every Wednesday at 8:00 PM throughout the tournament duration.

What are the prizes for winners?

The winning team owner receives 1.5x of the prize pool. There are also individual MVP awards, team trophies for champions and runners-up, and permanent Wall of Fame recognition.

Can I participate if I miss some events?

You must attend a minimum of 75% of events to remain eligible for prizes and recognition. Missing events results in point deductions.

How are teams formed?

Teams are formed by the ARES Business League organizing committee, with each team led by one of the four iconic team owners (Modi, Doval, Amit Shah, Jaishankar).

What is TYFCB?

TYFCB stands for Thank You For Your Business Check — the business revenue generated through referrals and networking within the BNI chapter.

When does the tournament begin?

The tournament runs from July 1st to July 29th, 2026. The opening ceremony is on July 1st, 2026 at 6:00 PM.
